Here you will find the world’s most popular and simple to make beer cocktail and cocktails with beer
Beer cocktails or cocktails with beer. What is the difference? There seems to be a bit of confusion among drinkers and mixologists.
Strictly speaking, beer cocktails contain predominantly beer, whereas cocktails with beer contain some beer and some other liquor or spirits as well. Some refer to the mix of two or more different beer together as a ”beer cocktail”. At Cocktail Mixing Master, it does not matter as long as you enjoy it.
Beer is perhaps not the first base-ingredient that comes to mind when you think of cocktail mixing. Still, there are thousands of beer cocktail recipes around. True to say that beer cocktails generally have less ingredients than other types of cocktails – you will generally see the beer being mixed with one or two other ingredients although you will come across recipes with many more ingredients.
Beer is of course very enjoyable on its own. A beer cocktail makes for a nice alternative, particularly on a hot summer’s day. Most recipes will indicate what type of beer you should use – light lager, ale, stout, etc. If not, you can use anything, but we suggest you use a medium strength lager.
Since beer is carbonated (have bubbles) you will seldom see a recipe that requires you to shake the ingredients. Instead, the ingredients will rather be floated or gently stirred. Generally, beer cocktails are served ungarnished.
Here are recipes of cocktails with beer carefully selected by Cocktail Mixing Master:
